I am Chris Fisher,
a professional mountain endurance athlete based in Breckenridge, Colorado. Originally from Dallas, Texas, I made the move to Colorado in the summer of 2019. Before relocating, I took on the challenge of becoming a Navy SEAL, going through BUD/S. Though I didn't complete the training, my time in the Navy taught me valuable lessons about the power of dedication and the ability to shape one's destiny with unwavering commitment.
My Experience
The experience of pushing myself during SEAL training ignited a passion for endurance and pushing the limits of both mind and body. Upon settling in Colorado, I discovered a knack for scaling peaks with speed and rapidly acquiring alpine skills. Whether skiing, climbing, running, or scrambling, the mountains became my playground, and the allure of adventure took hold.
After a brief two-year stint in Colorado working as a property manager, I made the bold decision to leave my job and fully embrace the life of a professional mountain athlete. In 2021, I achieved a major milestone by breaking the World Record for the most vertical feet climbed in a single month—surpassing 400,000 feet in just 31 days. This accomplishment marked the beginning of my journey as a professional athlete, attracting my first sponsorship and subsequently securing several more.
Since setting the World Record, I've established myself as a force in the world of mountain endurance. With over 20 Fastest Known Time records in various mountain terrains, including long ridge line traverses and single mountain pushes, my latest achievement is climbing all of Colorado's 14,000-foot mountains in a single calendar winter.
My commitment to training is unwavering as I continuously push towards new objectives. I take great pride in my personal growth, and I find inspiration in motivating others to pursue their goals. Whether breaking records or climbing mountains, I aim to share the life lessons I've learned both on and off the peaks, hoping to ignite the same passion in others to strive for their aspirations.
